While ABB has used BSI CRM since 1992, the global supplier of energy and automation technology recently migrated to Release 12.2.2. ABB employees are not only receiving a familiar application with a facelift and many new tools with the software. The updated version of the CRM system also offers guided processes, higher performance and is completely Web services-capable.
ABB Switzerland also used this opportunity to expand the group of users to include an additional company department and link further IT systems with BSI CRM. ABB had previously used the standard BSI CRM product primarily in the classic areas of sales and marketing, now its internal call center and the service department also have access to comprehensive CRM software.
